Meanwhile, smaller (but still significant tweaks) include a World Map that is now in colour and the fact that The Sims 4 is now available for Windows 64-bit computers.
The Sims 4 team has added a variety of funky, and festive items including snowflake decals, lighted trees, a tree centrepiece and brand new formal outfits that are “perfect for wearing to holiday parties”.

The other major addition in this Sims 4 update is the free Holiday Celebration Pack which follows on from the recent slate of Halloween content. Previously, you had to disable the mods yourself as keeping them on during the update process could end up breaking the game. Like a digital version of Santa that doesn’t care whether you’ve been placed on the naughty or nice list, this Sims 4 patch will introduce the ‘Holiday Celebration Pack’, allowing players to really get into the festive spirit.
